Facebook Email, What and How.

I guess today some of the people should have started to receive their invitation for facebook email, So what new about the new facebook email ??? Well i guess everyone have already own atleast 1 facebook account. Since we all have been using facebook so frequently and just imagine if you can check your email and social experience together won't that be so freaking convenience?

Here a 3 main feature of the @facebook.com

  • All your messages together

Get Facebook messages, chats and texts all in the same place.
    • Include email by activating your optional Facebook email address
    • Control who can send you messages through your privacy settings

    Full conversation history

See everything you've ever discussed with each friend as a single conversation.
    • No need for subject lines or other formalities
    • Easily leave large conversations that no longer interest you

      The messages you want

Focus on messages from your friends.
      • Messages from unknown senders and bulk email go into the Other folder
      • Spam is hidden from view automatically

So how to claim your facebook email ?

To set up a free @facebook.com address, go to your Messages view and click the "Claim your Facebook email" link.

Your email address will match your public username, for example:

    Profile: facebook.com/username
    Email: username@facebook.com

If you don’t have a username yet, you can choose one when you create your email address.

Once you set up your email address, people can email you using any traditional email system (e.g., Hotmail, Yahoo or Gmail), and the emails will be delivered to your Facebook Messages. When you send messages to external email addresses, the emails will be formatted to look like Facebook messages, including your name, your profile picture and
    your message.
