Miley Cyrus quits music career!

She's so over singing and wants to be a Hollywood movie star

Come June, Miley Cyrus has said she will hang up her mic and be "done" with her singing career. Make that Hannah Montana too.

The daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus has decided to turn her back on her younger fans. At twelve years old she signed up for the Hannah Montana role and last year spoke out about her struggle to maintain her character now that she has grown up. Wenn reported that Miley has "only has one season of the hit Disney show left, admitting she feels ‘claustrophobic' because she has ‘grown out of' the role."

She also told reporters: "I've got a record coming out in June and then I'm done. I just want to work in movies. That's what I like and that's what I want to be doing."

June will see the release of her fourth album, I Can't Be Tamed which follows on from Meet Miley Cyrus, Breakout, and The Time of Our Lives.

It's just like losing Hanson. Hannah Montana you will be missed.

Final Fantasy XIV Interview about the Battle Screen

Are you familiar with the screenshot below? Yes, it's Final Fantasy XIV's battle screen which was released days ago. If you look at it carefully you will find there are some tags and bars on the picture, you must be eager to know what they mean. Read the Dengeki interview translated by ffxivcore.com you will find the answer.

Mini map

The top right place shows mini map which tells you surroundings. In FFXI, you have to switch the screen to check the map, but in FFXIV, you can always have a map on the screen. Perhaps, areas shown on the map would vary according to the class.

Player's name

You can see that there is a space in between. This is not possible in FFXI. Apparently, in FFXIV, you can have surname and given name.

Skill on work and the enemy's information

The icon being currently used pops up, and the aimed enemy's HP is shown under it. It makes things easier to figure out the situation.

Log message

Log message has two tags; General and Battle. It seems several messages can be shown at the same time. The battle message sometimes says "attack from the behind", and it seems like direction of attack is very important. It is not clear if messages such as those from party members other than battle messages can be shown separately. Moreover, since the frame of the window is gone, the screen looks bigger. Also, those signs may be changed through options.

Icons

During battle, you can set abilities you want to use in action menu at the bottom of the screen. If you choose this icon while fighting, action gauge will get enlarged and you can use it when it is MAX. Icons got bigger and TP gauge is shown at the bottom.

Other icons

1. Mode button: Switch "Passive" with your armories closed, and "Active" which your weapons are out.
2. Battle regimen button: switch to skill which takes multiple players
3. Item list button: open the list of your items and use them
4. Emote button: open the list of emotional expressions like /bye and choose.
5. Main menu button: open the main menu which can summon screens like equipment screen

Q and A: Battle

Q: What is the difference between "General" and "Battle"?
A: "General" filters all the logs while "Battle" filters only battle-related logs. And probably, when the official service starts, it'd be nice if the number of tags can be increased to show logs you like or there are two windows.

Q: To which content we can arrange the lay out of articles on the screen?
A: Things which have to be shown all the time such as Mini map, HP/MP gauge, and log can be placed freely.

Q: What does the mark next to Target mean?
A: The strength of the enemy. It is like the one you can see from "investigate" in FFXI, but since there are more enemies you to deal with, the strength of the enemy is shown as comparison with your party's strength.

Q and A: Class

Q: Are there weapons seen in FFXI such as double-handed swords and double-handed scythes in FFXIV? If so, to which class those weapons belong?
A: I can't tell you when, but they do exist in FFXIV, too. So, till then, you have to look forward which class they belong.

Q: Class can be changed during the adventure. Are there limits on changing classes?
A: No limits, at the moment. But, maybe there will be.

Q: Can class changed during the battle?
A: There are "passive mode" and "active mode" in FFXIV. Class change is possible only when players are on "passive mode" and out of battling situation.

Q: So, those two modes can be switched freely?
A: Yes. You can change it wherever you like.

Q and A: Beta test

Q: Can we continue same character from the Beta test to the official service?
A: The number of the worlds will be different when the official service starts. So, if there are characters with the same name, names have to be changed.

Q: In Beta test, Windows version and PS3 can play the same world?
A: Separating the world among Windows and PS3 is not planned. There maybe bias of platform according to the time of beta test. However, basically, you can log with the same one account from Windows and PS3 like FFXI.

Q: As for Beta test, are there different worlds according to languages? Are there dictionaries of fixed form sentences?
A: They are not decided yet. By the way, as for alpha test, Japan, Europe and States would have different testing time.

Hacker Group FairX Blackmailing PlayOMG via N.E.O Online

PlayOMG's free-to-p;ay MMORPG, N.E.O Online, has been attacked by a group of hackers who claim themselves as FairX during the past few days. These people establish an in-game guild called "Fairlighters" and purposely crack game client and perform various improper actions in-game.

The hacker group FairX declares that they have cracked over 1,300 games, and even assist one online game company to produce anti-hacking system. FairX demand PlayOMG to negotiate with them through Skype. They claim that they crack into N.E.O Online for educational purpose and want to provide "solutions" to improve N.E.O Online's security system. Unless PlayOMG give in to their offers, they will not stop attacking N.E.O Online, and will further crash all PlayOMG games.

Currently, PlayOMG and developer SONOV are trying their best to solve this problem caused by the hacker group FairX. PlayOMG will neither accept their offers, nor allow them to affect N.E.O Online. PlayOMG would like to convey sincere apology towards all supporters of N.E.O Online. Proper actions will be taken to prevent similar issues from happening again.

Seriously? FairX? C'mon i think it just a bunch of loser who doesn't know how to make money through the legal way isn't that right reader? If you really that capable of improving a game security why don't do a proposal to their company? Hack their game and modify their mechanic? BullSh1t! Crack over 1,300 games? Yr a$$ la, retail games is completely different from hacking a live web server. If FairX was really that good why we didn't even know who the hell n what the hell is fairX!? Over 1,300 games? I only possible of hacking retail game over 60 game! Telekom Malaysia (TM) suspends download cap for UniFi

JAYA: Good news. The download cap on Telekom Malaysia’s UniFi high speed broadband service packages has been suspended.

The telco made the announcement on the Twitter microblogging site today and said it made the decision after taking into account public feedback on the cap.

“NO volume cap 4 all #unifi packages 4 now. Decision due to public feedback. TM will only monitor usage pattern 4 time being (sic),” read the tweet.

A spokesman for Telekom Malaysia told In.Tech that the telco, however, does still reserve the right to enforce a download limit to ensure all UniFi subscribers receive equal service quality.

Yesterday, many Malaysians complained on Twitter about the cap. They were disappointed because the cap would restrict the daily amount of data they can download via the high speed broadband service. (See report at http://bit.ly/ddk67k.)

They were also disappointed to learn that if the cap was exceeded, their connections would be throttled down to about 10% of the purchased speed. UniFi is available in 5Mbps (megabits per second), 10Mbps and 20Mbps packages.

With the latest announcement by Telekom Malaysia, many people are rejoicing. Among them is communications consultant Justin Then, who said he’s happy to note that Telekom Malaysia listens to consumers.

“Capping our high speed Internet access doesn’t make sense, if the Government wants Malaysians to seek out knowledge and be innovative,” he said.

A Twitter user, who asked to be identified only as Flo, said she’s glad Telekom Malaysia has decided not to employ the cap for now.

“We are paying a premium for technology that offers super high bandwidth, so a daily cap shouldn’t be applied. There’s no value in that; we would be better off with regular broadband,” she said.

Finally !! TMnet listen to consumer !! Oh yea! Lucky they remove the cap on Unifi package! As for so long malaysia ISProvider Tmnet have never cap on streamyx package! So they should not have cap the package from my experience! If they cap we will just like singapore =-= no more freedom!!

Godaddy.com pull out of China

While the “war” between Google and China is still ongoing, Go Daddy, the largest registrar of domain names on the Internet, has decided to follow Google to pull out of China. It’s not without reasons though, like how China wants Google to censor its search results, they now require Go Daddy to obtain signed registration forms, a business registration number, and a color headshot to the China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) for .cn domain names. Because Go Daddy feels that they can no longer comply with the Chinese requirements, it is reported that they will no longer offer .cn domain names, but will still allow Chinese citizens to register unrestricted domain names such as .com through Go Daddy. But things does not end there, the CNNIC requires the 1,200 registrants who have registered 27,000 .cn domain names at Go Daddy to provide the required information or risk losing their domain names but Go Daddy reported that only 20% of customers have already done so. Maybe like how Chinese users should use google.com.hk to search, they should register for .hk domain names instead.

Well this the price list that just release from Unifi. HSBB just roll out new package for consumer to change our lifestyle! So i doesn't know whether it worth it or not. But currently i'm using 4mbps and paying for RM160+++ while i could just roll over for the 10MBPS for RM199 which rounded up to RM200! So it kind worth it!

Okay just found out that Prince Of Persia is going to be on cinema on May 28!! which is a movie i going sh1t my pants and buy a pop corn and enjoy! World Of Warcraft Patch 3.3.3 Going Live -- Patch 3.3.3 Guide

Patch 3.3.3 will be going live tomorrow, Tuesday, March 23rd on the N.A. realms, and Wednesday, March 24th on the E.U. realms. This patch will bring a host of minor improvements to the game, along with some key balance changes.

Patch 3.3.3 will give you everything you need to know about the patch. Head over and check it out. A few of the more major things happening in patch 3.3.3:

The maintenance running tomorrow should, if everything goes smoothly, be over at 11 a.m. PDT / 2:00 p.m. EDT. If not, WoW.com will provide you with running updates; so keep your eyes open.

Patch 3.3 is the final major content patch for World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King. Three new 5-man dungeons and a new 10/25 man raid will be introduced at Icecrown Citadel, along with a ton of other changes to the game.

Class Changes

Ghostcrawler has said previously that class changes coming out for the rest of Wrath of the Lich King will not be as extreme as they were in Patch 3.1. Patch 3.2 didn't have very many, and Patch 3.3 has even less.

However, there's still some juicy class changes for all of us to enjoy.
